Who doesn’t love homemade gnocchi gnocchi sardi & gnudi with its beautiful textures and wonderful mouth feel? With a few simple ingredients we will have you cooking like an Italian Nona and sharing wonderful meals with family & friends.
We will create three types of Italian style dough made with similar ingredients, but with different shapes and textures. Gnocchi is usually made with potato, flour, and egg, gnocchi sadi made with semolina flour & gnudi is made with ricotta cheese, flour, and egg. All are easy to make from scratch, but require some practice to get the perfect texture and taste.
You’ll learn how to prepare the dough, roll it into small balls, and shape them into the classic gnocchi and gnudi shapes. The class will also cover how to make two delicious sauces to go with your gnocchi.
One of the great things about the Cooked from Scratch classes is that they are interactive and hands-on. Classes are also small, so you’ll have plenty of one-on-one attention.
Cooked from Scratch uses only the freshest ingredients, and use local and organic produce whenever possible. This means you’ll not only be learning how to cook delicious meals from scratch, but you’ll also be supporting sustainable agriculture and local businesses.
Minimum of 4 people for Class. All cooking equipment & aprons bottles jars if required are provided. Please advise of any food allergies prior to class.
